This 38 year old black female underwent gastric bypass for morbid obesity and lost 130 lbs in weight over 18 months. Her weight then stabilized. She was left with loose fatty tissue encircling her abdomen. It was removed by a near-circumferential abdominoplasty. Her new figure encouraged her to exercise and lead a more healthy lifestyle.
