The abdominoplasty performed on this 52 year old white female was aimed at improving the aesthetics of the abdomen by eliminating redundant skin and the contour deformities caused by previous scarring. The final scar is a little higher than I would like, but the patient had insufficient laxity of the tissues to bring it all the way down.
