79-year-old lady with blepharochalasis. This means redundant and droopy eyelid skin. Note that the patient does not have ptosis. In other words, her eyelid margin is at the right level and doesn’t overhang the pupil. A blepharoplasty with skin and fat excision was performed. An operation to correct ptosis would require surgery on the muscle that elevates the eyelid.
