This patient had severe capsular contracture in longstanding implants placed behind the muscle (sub-muscular). She underwent an open capsulectomy and implant exchange with the implants repositioned in front of the muscle (sub-mammary). This allowed the implants to descend and fill out the breast envelope giving a more natural appearance.
