Rhinophyma is a condition that involves overgrowth of the sebaceous glands of the nose. Is is incorrectly associated with alcohol consumption. In fact the condition is constitutional. This 68-year-old white male is a relatively mild case. The involved tissue was simply shaved off with a scalpel, and healing was spontaneous and rapid.
