The reasons for aesthetic rhinoplasty vary greatly. This young lady had only one complaint: that her nasal tip was too prominent. A simple tip rhinoplasty was all that was necessary. The tip (alar) cartilages were trimmed through internal incisions under local anesthesia. Following surgery, the patient had her nose taped for a week.
