Blepharoplasty/Ptosis Correction 333

Back To Procedure
Description:

78-year-old gentleman suffering from bilateral PTOSIS. This is where the upper lid lies at an abnormally low position, obstructing vision. Ptosis is not due to an excess of skin in the upper lid (although this may be present as well) but rather to a stretching out of the muscle used to open the eyes (the levator). It gives the patient a tired appearance. Ptosis should be corrected at the time of blepharoplasty.
