Abdominoplasty 25

This is a 29 year old woman with severe diastasis following childbirth. The rectus muscles have spread apart leaving a large bulge between them. It is almost to the point of becoming a hernia. There is also loose skin and some stretch marks. An abdominoplasty allows for the diastasis to be fixed, the muscles tightened, and the excess skin to be removed. I positioned the scar to be hidden by the bikini straps – here pushed down to show it.
