Sometimes a ‘Mommy Makeover’ is an impetus for patients to lose weight and slim down even in those areas not subject to the surgery, as in this 52-year-old black female. I performed a breast reduction and an abdominoplasty and the patient continued to shed the pounds for some months afterwards.
