Procedure Description: Facelift surgery addresses wrinkles, neck bands, loose skin, and fine lines by repositioning the deeper tissues and gently re-draping the skin. This technique provides long-lasting results and a firmer, more youthful contour.

Procedure Description: A brow lift, or forehead lift, improves frown lines, reduces wrinkles, and repositions the eyebrows to restore a more youthful appearance. This technique may erase the “hooding” that is caused by droopy eyebrows and eyelids and make the patient seem more alert and less tired.

Procedure Description: Rhinoplasty, or a ‘nose job,’ alters the size and shape of your nose and positions it in the midline to create facial harmony and address nasal deformities. It may be combined with surgery on the septum to correct breathing difficulties, in which case the operation is called a septo-rhinoplasty.

Procedure Description: Rhinoplasty revisionary surgery alters previous nasal surgery results to reinstate facial harmony. This surgery is designed for patients who are dissatisfied with the appearance of a previous rhinoplasty, as well as those who have noticed unexpected changes in their nasal shape or who have developed a new nasal deformity.

Procedure Description: Facial reanimation addresses a severe functional and aesthetic disability known as facial paralysis, where the facial nerve has been damaged following Bell’s palsy, skull base, or parotid surgery. There are many other causes of facial paralysis—some congenital—but these are the most frequent. If complete, the deformity can be very severe with gross asymmetry and distortion of the face when the patient smiles. Facial reanimation aims to restore facial symmetry. A number of different procedures are designed for varying expressions of this condition. Some are simple, but, when the condition is severe, complex microsurgery and free tissue transfer is required. Dr. Boyd is one of the few surgeons trained in the technique of free gracilis muscle transfer for smile restoration following facial paralysis.

Procedure Description: Cleft lip and cleft palate are developmental abnormalities that can cause functional and cosmetic disorders, and, if not repaired properly, can lead to conspicuous scarring and feeding or speech problems that will affect the psyche of the individual for life. Carefully staged surgery fixes the cleft lip and palate and facilitates those functions that the rest of us take for granted. If skillfully done, the scar will be hard to see as the child grows.

Procedure Description: Earlobe repair addresses stretched or torn earlobes caused by trauma or wearing heavy or gauged earrings. This surgery can correct earlobe deformities and resize the earlobes to create a more pleasing appearance.

Procedure Description: Setback otoplasty, or ear setback, improves the appearance of large, protruding ears by reshaping them and repositioning them closer to your head. This procedure is commonly performed on children with local or general anesthesia.

Procedure Description: Silhouette InstaLift™ is a minimally invasive procedure that lifts the deeper tissue layers of the midface and jowls to improve signs of facial aging like fine lines, wrinkles, deep creases, and sagging cheeks. It is minimally invasive and carried out during an office visit. Although not as dramatic as a facelift, it is completely safe, easy to endure, and may be repeated from time to time.

Procedure Description: Breast augmentation enhances the size and shape of a woman’s breasts by the insertion saline or silicone-filled implants. This procedure addresses naturally small breasts and volume loss after childbirth.

Procedure Description: Breast implant removal surgically removes implants from a previous augmentation to alleviate pain, hardness, or asymmetry from complications. Women may also choose to remove their breast implants after a breast cancer diagnosis or if they want to replace their implants with new ones. Some patients may have gained weight rendering their augmented breasts too large, while others may have lost breast volume following childbirth and find them too small.
