Mommy Makeover consisting of abdominoplasty and mastopexy (breast lift) in a 47-year-old white female who had lost 50 pounds in weight. The looser the abdominal skin, the longer the abdominal scar has to be. The mastopexy resulted in an ‘anchor’ scar due to the necessity of removing folds from the armpit. Surgery for the massive weight loss patient is far more challenging than equivalent surgery in the average patient.
